Well Site Safety Coloring Contest (K-2nd grades)

Students can help spread the word that 'Well Sites are not play sites' by participating in our annual Well Site Safety coloring contest. Creativity is encouraged! Students in K-2nd grade are eligible for this contest. Postmark deadline for entries is March 11, 2022. See page 2 of the entry form for a complete list of contest rules. Winners will be recognized and have the opportunity to meet their local legislators during our Well Site Safety Day being held at the State Capitol.
Well Site Safety Poster Contest (3rd-6th grades)

SAFETY FACT SHEET
Students can help spread the word about well site safety by participating in our annual Well Site Safety poster contest. Students are asked to draw a poster using one of our two safety messages, 'Well sites are not play sites' or 'Leave it to the professionals' or by creating their own catchy safety slogan. The goal their poster should be to inform others about well site safety and to help encourage people to stay safe, stay smart, and stay away from well sites! Students in 3rd-6th grade are eligible for this contest. Postmark deadline for entries is March 11, 2022. See page 3 of the entry form for a complete list of rules. Winners will be recognized and have the opportunity to meet their local legislators during our Well Site Safety Day being held at the state capitol on April 26, 2022.
Well Site Safety Poster Contest (7th-12th grades)

Students can help spread the word about well site safety by participating in our annual Well Site Safety contest. This year, the OERB is asking students get creative and design a hand drawn poster OR produce a short TikTok video promoting well site safety to their peers. The goal of their entry should be to inform others about well site safety and to help encourage people to stay safe, stay smart, and stay away from well sites! This contest will have two divisions, junior high (7th-9th) and high school (10th-12th). Students are welcome to enter as a group (up to 5 students) or as an individual. Students in 7th-12th grade are eligible for this contest. Postmark deadline for entries is March 11, 2022. See the entry form for a complete list of contest rules.
